Summer Lourdes 2007

In 2007, 178 young people and leaders travelled on pilgrimage to Lourdes in the South of France to care for the elderly from our diocese. This is the text of the letter that Aylish's parents sent to us. What is great is that any one of our young people and leaders that came to Lourdes, in either hotel, could have been part of this. Be justly proud of what you did in Lourdes; show this letter to anyone you want to, and keep the spirit of Lourdes going with your family and friends.

Rome - New Year 2005/2006

World Youth Day

The 20th World Youth Day - held in Cologne, Germany, in August 2005 - saw the gathering of an estimated 1,200,000 million people from every corner of the globe. 60 people went with the Brentwood Youth Service, of around 2,500 from England and Wales. How did WYD touch their hearts?
